1936 Aeronca C-3B Master
Our Aeronca C-3B was purchased in Miami, Florida in 1994 by Jerry Thuotte. It was fully restored back to its original condition in 1995. This aircraft is somewhat unique among C-3s in that it still has its original Aeronca engine that was originally installed by the Aeronca factory back in 1936. Both the aircraft and its engine have a total of only 700 hours since new, and only 70 hours since the full restoration in 1995.
This aircraft was donated to the Port Townsend Aero Museum in 2001 by the Thuottes.
