Piper PA-12 Flap Installation and Complete Recover

The Port Townsend Aero Museum was selected by the owner of this Piper PA-12 for the job of installing a Univair flap kit. In the process the owner decided to have PTAM completely recover his airframe including final color coat and striping. Needless to say when all of our work was completed, the owner was very happy. How could he not be happy with such a beautiful example of Piper's PA-12?  Below are just a few pictures of the work preformed by us on this aircraft.
