1930 Stinson SM-8A Detroiter

 

This 1930 Stinson SM-8A is known as "The Queen of the Cowlitz".  It was built up from wreckage over a 12 year period to like new condition. The airplane was finally returned to flying condition in 1999. Restored and owned by Peggy and Jerry Thuotte. It is on permanent loan to the Port Townsend Aero Museum.
