1931 Curtiss-Wright Junior (replica)

This Curtiss Wright Junior replica was donated by Captain Max Friebel, of Puyallup, Washington in 2001. Most of the work on this airplane had been completed by the time the museum received  it as a donation. It is currently  awaiting hangar space to be assembled and flown. The Junior was one of the three most successful light aircraft designs of the 1930's, along with the Aeronca C3's and the Taylor-Young.  Note:  The Piper J3 Cub did not make the top three list for the 1930's as it came along too late to sell as many aircraft as the other three.
