1947 Piper PA-12

The Port Townsend Aero Museum was asked by the owner of this beautiful PA-12 to correct a problem with the fabric that was cracking on the gear legs and door. In addition he asked if we could re-rig the airplane so that it would fly "hands off".  We removed the bad Razorback fabric from the legs and door, repaired and prepped as necessary, and installed new  Poly-Fiber fabric. Add to this a little bit of custom matched color and this Piper PA-12 is once again a real head turner.  I almost forgot to mention, after a little PTAM rigging, it also flies hands-off now.
