The Port Townsend Aero Museum offers an aviation based youth summer camp for kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity to become involved with our museum. Last summer two separate camps were held over two different weekends. These camps expose the kids to all aspects of aviation. From theory to maintenance to actual flight, the kids get to experience it all. Their weekend culminates in a 15 to 20 minute flight where they have the opportunity to put some of what they have learned into practice and fly one of the museum airplanes with a certified pilot in the rear seat.
