1932 Pietenpol“Sky Scout”Designed by Bernard Pietenpol, this 1928 design originally called for the use of a Ford Model “T” engine, but as the Model “A” became more available, it was used instead. Intended for hard usage by sport flyers, it was soon superseded by a two seat version called “Aircamper”. Plans became available to the public, for both types of aircraft, when they were published in popular aviation magazines in 1930.
