Stinson SR–10 Reliant

The “Gullwing” Stinson was first introduced in 1936 as the model SR–7. The SR–10 was considered the best of the series, and was meant for the wealthy individual who wanted an “elite” airplane.

This particular SR–10 was modified in 1956 to become “The Bushman”, sporting a more powerful Pratt and Whitney engine, and metalized wings and fuselage instead of fabric. It was flown as “Island Sky Ferries” for 20 years by Roy Franklin of Friday Harbor.
